Services We Provide

North Shore Oil Tank Recovery is available to provide you with an on-site estimate and a detailed plan for oil tank removal 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

If you are concerned about the possibility of an old, buried oil tank being on your property but there are no visible signs, North Shore Oil Tank Recovery will use a metal detector to perform a search of the property. This service is done throughout the Lower Mainland of Vancouver, BC Canada at a very competitive rate. If an old oil tank is discovered and the client signs a removal contract with North Shore Oil Tank Recovery, there will be no charge for this detection service.

Upon agreement and signed contract for the removal of an oil tank, North Shore Oil Tank Recovery will:

1) Obtain all of the necessary permits

2) Schedule any required inspections, pumping services and engineering inspections

3) Prepare the site to protect the surrounding areas to minimize the impact

4) Properly dispose of the oil tank, the oil tank waste, etc.

5) Carefully examine the tank nest after the oil tank has been removed and discuss any possible problems with the property owner before initiating any further analytical testing

6) Back-fill the site properly with fill sand

7) Provide documentation and pictures of the entire process

8) Clean up! We pride ourselves on leaving the job site in a state that we would like our own property to be left in

If you are concerned about a heavy excavator damaging your yard, let us put your mind at ease. We take great care in creating as little impact on your property as possible — 90% of our jobs are done by hand.

Using an excavator results in more time preparing the site and more clean up afterwards. As well, larger access to the job site is required and there is also a larger hole perimeter to deal with after the excavation is complete.
